After seven years, there’s a new executive director at the Belleville General Hospital Foundation.
The foundation announced this morning that Drew Brown is stepping down and moving on to future endeavors, to be replaced by Heather Smith.
Smith brings 25 years of leadership experience, working with the Ontario Lung Association, University Hospitals Kingston Foundation, the Association of Fundraising Professionals South Eastern Ontario and has done some prior work with the BGHF as well.
Even through this transition, the foundation is remaining focused on its Christmas Angel Campaign and continuing to raise much-needed funds for the hospital into the new year.
