There is lots of local representation from Quinte, taking part in this year’s World Junior A Challenge.
Belleville’s Aidan Girduckis will return on the blue line. He is a d-man for the Carleton Place Canadians of the CCHL.
Jett Alexander of the North York Rangers is one of two goaltenders selected. Alexander is a Bloomfield native.
Former Quinte Red Devil Mac Lowry will be playing forward. He is an RBC Cup Champion and also plays with the Cobourg Cougars in the OJHL.
Trenton Golden Hawks Coach/GM Marty Abrams is serving for the sixth time with the team. He is the Goaltending Coach and acted in a scouting capacity.
The Wellington Dukes are represented by Ben Evans, Mason Snell and Captain Colin Doyle, a native of Campbellford.
The World Junior A Challenge takes place in Truro, Nova Scotia December 10th-16th.
