We need to make a correction regarding our story about a local event commemorating National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women tomorrow, December 6.
The start time for the event at the CORE Arts and Cultural Centre tomorrow is 11:30, not as previously reported.
The day is dedicated to the memory of the 14 young women who were killed in 1989 at l’Ecole Polytechnique de Montreal.
The event will run until 1 o’clock and feature a presentation from the PECI Senior Drama Class.
The CORE is in downtown Belleville on Pinnacle Street.
