Brighton’s Trennt Michaud and partner Evelyn Walsh of London are in second place after the Short Program at the 2018 Skate Canada Challenge in Pierrefonds Quebec.
Michaud and Walsh are competing in their first Skate Canada Senior Level event after winning the Junior division last year. This competition is a qualifier for the 2018 Canadian Tire National championships next month in Vancouver.
Last spring Michaud and Walsh finished fifth at the International Skating Union championships in Chinese Taipei.
