Council in Prince Edward County has voted to give themselves a raise for 2018.
The raise of 1.4 per cent was calculated using the CPI (Consumer Price Index) adjustment.
The mayor will see a raise of $577 and councilors will see a pay increase of $289.
CAO James Hepburn says council will take an in depth look at the remuneration before the incoming council takes their seats around the horseshoe.
The rate of pay for kilometres travelled while on County business remained unchanged at 50 cents a kilometre.
