A 23 year old Quinte West man will do more time in jail for his role in an armed robbery of a gas bar variety store on the Tyendinaga Territory last summer.
Cody Barker pleaded guilty to an armed robbery and weapon possession charge. Other charges were withdrawn.
Barker, who has been in custody since the incident, was sentenced to 2 years less a day in prison, 3 years probation, a 10 year weapons prohibition, and must give a DNA sample.
In July, OPP and Tyendinaga Police responded to an early morning robbery. Cigarettes, fireworks, and cash were stolen.
Along with Barker, three young offenders, all male, were also arrested after the incident.
