Members of Prince Edward County council will be seeing a lot of each other in the coming days.
This afternoon (Thursday) they meet in a regular Committee of the Whole meeting.
And this Monday, council gets to the business of creating a budget for 2018. The whole work week has been set aside for that process.
Last year’s operating budget caused county taxes to go up by around 3.25% for the average homeowner.
Last year’s capital budget was $11.6 million.
Staff will be asking that five new fulltime employees be hired during next week’s budget talks.
