Nelson Powers’ first OJHL goal stood up as the game-winner in a 4-2 Wellington Dukes victory over the Stouffville Spirit Saturday night.
Also, Colin Doyle added a goal and an assist, with single goals going to Mason Snell and Jackson Arcan.
Belleville native Daniel Panetta earned two assists.
Pierce Nelson and Jonah Capriotti split the net in the win.
The Dukes are off until Friday when they host the Whitby Fury at Essroc Arena.
Meanwhile, the other County-based Junior team received a tough setback last night.
The Picton Pirates fell 6-2 at the hands of the Port Hope Panthers.
Justin Arnold and Devin Morrison scored for Picton.
