UPDATE @ 5:00 p.m.: Reports to Quinte News say detours along County Road 3 have been cleared and power is coming back to residents in the area.
There’s been no update on any charges or injuries as a result of that crash.

UPDATE @ 3:30 p.m.: A section of County Road 3, between County Road 23 and Bay Breeze Road, will remain closed until crews have finished restoring power to close to 500 customers.
That restoration isn’t expected now until close to 8:00 p.m.

UPDATE @ 1:45 p.m.: Hydro One now says power won’t be restored until closer to 4:00 p.m. Friday.
Detours are still in place.

UPDATE: Hydro One says power should be restored for about 493 affected customers by 1:30 p.m. Friday.
Traffic is being re-routed at the intersection of County Road 23 and County Road 3, as well as Bay Breeze Road.

Power lines went down on Rednersville Road following an accident Friday morning.
Around 10:30 a.m, a dump truck crashed into a hydro pole, causing the lines to go down.
Belleville Fire reported the incident, they and Prince Edward firefighters are on the scene.
No further details are available.
