Workers at Brighton Custom Rubber Manufacturing evacuated the building shortly before 7 a.m. Thursday.
Brighton firefighters arrived at the plant at 15 Loyalist Drive in the Industrial Park to find the building filled with smoke.
Work is underway to find the source of the smoke.
