A fast response by Quinte West firefighters saved a small older bungalow from being destroyed by fire late this afternoon (Saturday).
The house is located on Telephone Road just west of the Trenton VIA Junction.
Fire Chief John Whalen says a BBQ on a porch started some siding on fire which spread into the home’s attic.
Firefighters managed to restrict the fire damage to the porch, part of a wall and part of the attic.
No one was injured.
Stations one and two responded.
