Ontario’s government will try again today to introduce back-to-work legislation aimed at ending a weeks-long strike by college faculty.
About 500,000 students have been out of class since October 15th, when 12,000 instructors, counsellors and librarians walked off the job.
The Liberal government tried to introduce a back-to-work bill Thursday night, but it required unanimous support and the NDP did not give their consent.
The government says if the bill is blocked again Friday, the legislature will sit through the weekend until it is pushed through.
