Talk of locating a health services hub in downtown Trenton has caused a sudden jump in the number of members for the citizens advocacy group OurTMH.
OurTMH board member Sharon Urquhart thanked Southeast Local Health Integration Network CEO Paul Huras for announcing the hub would be downtown instead of near Trenton Memorial Hospital.
“Our membership jumped by about 500 in just two weeks after that announcement. That’s how much a lot of the population wants a hub to be close to the hospital.”
The decision on a location for the hub has not yet been made.
OurTMH now has 19,774 members, just 226 members short of the goal of 20,000.
