Homeowners in Quinte West can expect a call through the city’s PRISM Emergency Notification System starting later this week.
The city’s PRISM verification campaign begins on November 16th.
Residents will get calls over the next several weeks, on weekday evenings, asking to verify contact information.
Quinte West GIS Supervisor Steve Whitehead says both landlines and cell phones will be called for verification, but you can also visit the city website to verify and register.
This is the 9th year Quinte West has operated the PRISM system, which is used to notify residents of emergencies like a fire, a boil water advisory, or a missing child.
