It could get a lot easier to turn out of the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre soon, depending on what Belleville City Council decides on Tuesday.
Staff have submitted a report suggesting traffic lights be installed at the south entrance of the complex, which would require no utility relocations, or significant realignment of lanes.
A plan for signals at the north entrance may come forward in the 2018 budget.
The project has a price tag of about $40,000, with that money coming from the Pedestrian Crossings Improvement Capital Account.
