The Wellington Dukes took a tough 6-1 road loss at the hands of the Aurora Tigers Saturday night.
It was a penalty filled affair, with 110 minutes combined between the two teams.
Jackson Arcan had Wellington’s only goal.
The Dukes are off until Friday, when they host the Cobourg Cougars at Essroc Arena. However, they’ll send six players to the Eastern Canada Cup in Trenton, which starts Monday.
In Jr. C, the Campbellford Rebels lost a busy offensive contest 8-5 to the Gananoque Islanders.
Mike Chambers, Benny Scarr-Cromas and Matt Moran all recorded two points each for Campbellford.
