Remembrance Day is being marked in Belleville and across the Quinte area on Saturday.
Various branches of the Royal Canadian Legion, along with other organizations, will hold ceremonies at cenotaphs throughout the region, to pay honour to those who have died fighting in Canada’s military.
President of the Army Navy Air Force Veterans in Canada (ANAF) unit in Belleville, Brian Woodley, says he hopes people are aware of the significance of the day.
