Alcohol is believed to be a factor in a roll over on the 401 Tuesday night in Quinte West.
Around 11 p.m., emergency crews were called to the westbound lanes on the highway, between Wallbridge-Loyalist Road and Glen Miller Road.
The vehicles were in the ditch and one had rolled.
Two people were taken to hospital for treatment.
Thirty-three-year-old Sebastian Shank was arrested and charged with impaired operation and having more than 80 milligrams in his blood.
Shank appears in court December 7th.
