Leaks are causing headaches for members of Stirling-Rawdon council and staff.
However, it’s not the whispering of secret information or rumours.
Stirling-Rawdon’s municipal building has a persistent leak in its roof, and there are more
serious leaks on the roof of the municipally owned Stirling Festival Theatre in the downtown.
Although estimates to make repairs haven’t been made yet, they are expected to be costly.
Staff will do some patching as a temporary fix.
The Stirling Festival Theatre was built in 1927, and the roof has undergone major work on four separate occasions.
