There was a 75th anniversary celebrated in the Quinte region yesterday.
CFB Trenton’s 429 Transport Squadron, commonly known as the Bisons, held a parade at
the base marking 75 years of military service.
429 Squadron was formed November 7 of 1942 and won several battle honours during World War 2.
These days, the Bisons are moving people and equipment around the world in the massive C 177 Globemaster aircraft.
