A charge of animal cruelty was withdrawn against a Colborne resident late last week in a Cobourg courtroom.
Mike Miller, 34, was charged with animal cruelty in July of last year after reports of a dog being beaten.
The charge against him was withdrawn, as was a similar charge against a co-accused, 30-year-old Amy Gibson.
The charge against her had been dropped some time ago.
