There was a little excitement at an east end Belleville industry this morning (Monday).
Around 7:45, Belleville firefighters responded to the Kennametal plant on Dundas East after
a dust collection unit started blowing smoke.
Employees evacuated the building, but were allowed back in to work before 9 o’clock after the fire department made quick work of the situation.
No one was injured.
Kennametal is located at 471 Dundas East in Belleville.
