Quinte West’s Corporate Finance Committee is recommending a renovation leading to two modern, accessible public washrooms in downtown Trenton.
The downtown has become much busier and hosts more events than ever before and current washrooms at the marine fuelling station at Fraser Park are out of date.
The Committee has recommended council approve the least costly option of renovations to the existing building at a cost of around $110,000.
There would be room for a tourist kiosk and the washrooms would lock/unlock on a timer.
