Loyalist College has not one, but two Athletes of the Week following stellar performances in their respective sports.
Second year Recreation & Leisure student, Brooke McAlpine earned a top 20 finish at the OCAA Cross Country Provincial Championships at Fanshawe College in London. McAlpine finished less than 3 minutes out of first place to qualify for the 2017 National Championships next month in Quebec.
Joe Bresee, a fourth year men’s volleyball player, was clutch for his team in a back and forth battle with the Seneca Sting on Saturday at the Lancerdome. Bresee finished with 15 kills, 5 aces and 1 block for an impressive 21 total points.
