Prince Edward County OPP have charged the bus driver involved in yesterday’s school bus roll over.
Edward Taylor has been charged with three counts of careless driving, failing to carry a completed daily inspection report and failure to carry an inspection schedule.
According to police, the 78-year-old man had just dropped a student off and was westbound on Shannon Road just outside of Bloomfield when the bus entered the south ditch where it came to rest on its side. Twelve students ranging from elementary to high school age were on board at the time.
There were no serious injuries as a result.
