It is a big day at Belleville’s Yardmen Arena.
Inspectors, building officials, contractors and city staff will be walking around the rink today, in hopes of getting occupancy at the building.
Back in December, Ball Construction began renovations, which included 1200 new seats, VIP suites, new parking, a smaller ice surface, a fan zone and more.
Director of Recreation Mark Fluhrer says it is up to the Chief Building Official.
Fluhrer says “I’s” need to be dotted and “Ts” crossed.
The first game for the Belleville Senators is scheduled for Wednesday night.
