Old Highway 2 in the far east end of Belleville was closed to traffic for around four hours early last night (Sunday) after a vehicle went off of the road, hitting a hydro pole.
A 19-year-old Trenton man was extricated from the vehicle by Belleville firefighters, and transferred to Kingston General Hospital with serious injuries.
The collision occurred east of Point Anne Road.
