The rain keeps coming, and the rainfall record for an October 29th in the Quinte region was washed away yesterday.
According to readings taken at CFB Trenton, 45.8 millimetres, or 1.8 inches of rain fell in our area.
The previous record had been a paltry 9.2 mm, set in 2003.
The rain record for this date, October 30, is 19.1 mm, set in 1973.
