UPDATE 5 p.m.: OPP have determined that Hogan is safe in the Ottawa area and making arrangements for travel abroad. The search has been discontinued.
Members of the Bancroft Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), OPP Emergency Response Team and the OPP Canine Unit are requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 30-year-old autistic male.
On October 28 at 9:30 a.m., officers received a complaint of the missing male from Golfers Lane in Hastings Highlands Township.
John Hogan was last seen at his residence on Golfers Lane around 10:30 p.m. on October 27.
Hogan is described as a high functioning autistic male.
