The Hastings Prince Edward School Board is looking for submissions to name the new amalgamated Belleville high school.
The consolidated secondary school will bring together students from Quinte and Moira, into one site in the east end next September.
Board spokesperson Kerry Donnell says whether or not a new build is approved by the Ministry of Education, a new name is coming.
Names of famous Canadians, significance to the community, and conformity with board designations, are suggestions when considering a new name.
The submission deadline is Wednesday November 15th.
