Bay of Quinte Finals Soccer Results held Thursday at Bayside Secondary School:
JUNIOR
Centennial Chargers 0 (Clean Sheet – Zane Neill) Bayside Red Devils 0 (Clean Sheet – Ryan Houlden) – CSS WINS ON PENALTY KICKS 5-4.
The score was 0-0 after regulation and extra time between these two teams. It was 4-4 after the 1st round of penalties, Centennial prevailed 1-0 in sudden death penalties.
SENIOR
Bayside Red Devils 3 (Scott Thompson 2, Aaron Yuan) East Northumberland Blue Devils 2 (Alex Birch 2)
A back and forth battle – Bayside was up 2-0 early in the second half but ENSS pulled one back, Aaron Yuan scored the game winner to put the Red Devils up 3-1, then a late tally from from Alex Birch to make it tight at the end. The Red Devils would hang on to claim the Bay of Quinte Senior Championship.
