She credits her bandmates and crews as difference makers. “It takes a village to raise a me”, she laughs.
On Thursday evening “Miss Emily” performed the first show to launch “In Between”, her latest release, which she co-wrote with Gord Sinclair and Rob Baker (The Tragically Hip).
The graduate of PECI says “In Between”, the title track, comes from a tough loss.
Miss Emily says to co-write with Sinclair and Baker was a special opportunity.
Rob Baker, has produced his son’s band (Kasador), he has played with Strippers Union and played and co-written with Fennell Taylor, to go along with her work in “The Hip. He says they are all unique experiences.
Gord Sinclair says he has really enjoyed the process working and performing on the new album with Baker and Fennell Taylor.
