The road between Belleville and Ottawa is a well travelled one. Specifically, the road between the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre and the Canadian Tire Centre.
Forward Max McCormick will be in the lineup tonight when the Senators host the Los Angeles Kings. The move was made after rugged winger Bobby Ryan suffered a broken index finger during Saturday’s win over Toronto. McCormick will join Chris Didomenico who was called up from Belleville on Friday.
It’s the fifth time this season the NHL club reached out to their American Hockey League affiliate.
Meanwhile star prospect Colin White could suit up for Belleville in a pair of games against the Manitoba Moose in Winnipeg this weekend. White is recovering from a broken wrist suffered during a pre-season game against Toronto. White had his first full practice with Ottawa yesterday.
