Here’s a reminder to rummage through your clothes closet sometime today and find something in purple.
Tomorrow is the annual Dress Purple Day as part of Child Abuse Prevention Month.
Hundreds of Children’s Aid Societies province wide, including the local Highland Shores CAS, are involved in raising awareness about child abuse and ways to prevent it.
This year’s theme is “it takes a village to keep a child safe”.
At sundown tonight, the CN Tower in Toronto will be lit up in the colour purple to usher in Dress Purple Day.
