Large Party Broken up by Police and Fire
On Saturday night at around 11:15 p.m., Belleville Police attended a large party in the area of Mudcat Road and Heritage Trail. Approximately 100 to 150 people were present enjoying a large bonfire. The fire department was called to extinguish the fire. After the fire was put out, it put a damper on the party, and participants fled the area.
Ride Check
Police set up a RIDE check in the area of Mudcat Road and Heritage trail to make sure the party goers were sober. A 39-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with impaired driving and operating a motor vehicle with over 80mgs of alcohol. He was released on a promise to appear in court in November.
