The City of Belleville is getting its second-quarter payment from the OLG, for hosting the Shorelines Casino and it’s higher than the last one.
The citiy will recieve $744,519, which is split into various reserve funds including 65% for infrastructure and smaller chunks into reserves for economic development, vehicle repairs and replacement, disaster mitigation and others.
This is the third payment the city has been given by the OLG, for hosting the casino, with the others coming in at just under $725,000 and around $575,000.
That brings the city’s total revenue from hosting the casino to almost $2 million since it opened earlier this year.
