Quinte West OPP are searching for a suspect, after a home invasion.
Shortly after 7 a.m., officers were called to Bayview Estates, just east of the base, after a man entered a home and indicated he had a weapon.
Following an alleged altercation, he fled on foot.
He is described as lanky, in his 20s, last seen wearing black splash pants and a hoodie.
The Emergency Response Team, Canine and Crime Units are involved in the search.
