The City of Belleville or Quinte West will be getting a new 40 unit affordable housing building.
Monday in Quinte West City Council, officials with Hastings County Housing updated councillors on the Home for Good Project.
They bid to the province and were successful in getting millions in funding.

Hastings County Community and Human Resouces Executive Director Erin Rivers believes they got the grant because the community worked together.
Ogden says 38 units will be one bedroom, the other two bachelor suites, with a handful being fully accessible.
She says they have tendered the project and hope to select a site prior to Christmas.
They are hoping for a site that is close to amenities.
Some of the money from the program will go to help some with paying first and last months rent as private rental units in the area.
Some will get funding towards rent at private units.
Currently the wait list for affordable housing is over 700.
