Construction activity continues on the site of the former Zeller’s property in Belleville.
John Marino of Marino Investments says crews have arrived on site (Bell Boulevard), to start construction of Popeye’s Chicken, behind Panera Bread.
He says more work starts soon on the former Zeller’s building.
Meantime, Marino is helping to bring in the new Fionn McCool’s restaurant to the Holiday Inn property on North Front and relocate Kelsey’s to Bell Boulevard.
No franchisee has been found for either restaurant.
