A man jailed for his role in the murder and assault of a Belleville teen has been deported from Bermuda.
According to The Royal Gazette, Kirk Mundy was flown to his native country of Jamaica this week.
He was sentenced to five years in prison, back in 1996, after he pleaded guilty to a charge of being an accessory to the murder of Rebecca Middleton.
Mundy and Justis Smith were arrested, following the death of Middleton, July 3rd, 1996.
Murder-accused Smith walked free from court after the judge threw out the case against him.
Middleton was stabbed multiple times, sexually assaulted and killed.
Human rights lawyer Cherie Booth, who studied the case says the case is a terrible story.
Booth, the wife of former British PM Tony Blair says it is something no family should have to endure.
