Central Hastings laid close to 60 charges during Operation Impact.
The four-day traffic blitz over the Thanksgiving weekend was focused on impaired, distracted and aggressive drivers, as well as those not wearing seat belts.
Central Hastings officers issued 52 speeding tickets, five for distracted driving and one seat belt charge.
Three drivers were also found to have suspended licenses.
Along with the “big four”, officers also conducted 13 RIDE Programs, responded to 11 traffic complaints, eight crashes and a total of 43 calls for service.
