Belleville council will consider significant upgrades to its technology to better serve the general public at its regular meeting tomorrow (Tuesday).
Council will be asked to approve the low tender from Legend Recreation Software Inc. for software automating recreation program and facility bookings. The tender came in at $262,000 plus tax. The software would also handle payments.
And council will also decide whether or not to expand software from N. Harris Computer Corporation so automated record keeping can be used by the Bylaw Enforcement section.
The building department already uses the company’s software.
Belleville council meets tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock at City Hall.
