An old abandoned barn lies in a smouldering pile at 2459 Highway 49

A small and old abandoned barn went up in flames early this morning in Prince Edward County.
The barn at 2459 Highway 49 was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived shortly after 2 a.m. in wet and windy conditions.
The barn was empty. No one was injured.
Firefighters managed to save another barn nearby.
