The American Hockey League’s regular season kicked off last night, and the Belleville Senators were facing a familiar opponent in the Laval Rocket.
In a close game, the Rocket prevailed, with All-Star goaltender Charlie Lindgren stopping all 26 shots he faced, as Laval beat Belleville 3 to nothing.
Belleville Senators Head Coach Kurt Kleinendorst said his team didn’t get the bounces.
The Senators and the Rocket play again tonight in Laval, gametime on CJBQ is 7:20.
Last night’s game was played in front of 10,000 fans.
