A total of 7 people have been charged with drug and weapons offences after police raids in the Grafton and Colborne areas on September 29.
According to Northumberland Today, Port Hope Police, OPP and Cobourg Police were involved in the operation, dubbed Project Backwood.
In the raids, police seized cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal meth and fentanyl, marijuana, prescription
opiates and $3,100 in cash.
A marijuana grow operation with 221 plants was located in the Grafton area and a shotgun and a .22 calibre rifle were seized.
Police say a total of $36,000 worth of illegal drugs was discovered.
Names of those charged have not been released.
