Chloe Choinard might be gone but there is a solid group of up and coming competitors at the Stirling Figure Skating Club. Four took part at a skate in Ottawa with two finishing in the top 10.
In the Pre-Novice division, Madison Myers, a grade 9 student at St. Theresa Secondary School finished 4th in the long program and 6th overall. Courtney LaPalm, a grade 8 student at Stirling Public came in 6th in the short program and 9th overall.
Also competing were 17 year old Taylor LaPierre of Bayside Secondary and 15 year old Jamie Potts of Centre Hastings Secondary School.
