The Belleville Senators have welcomed several players to the AHL over the past several days, but one in particular has seen a lot of hype.
2017 World Junior MVP Thomas Chabot took part in practice Tuesday at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre.
Chabot says it was important to get into the first practice and get to know his teammates. He says he had a chance to talk with the coaching staff in both Ottawa and Belleville.

He says the goal is to get NHL ready.
800 CJBQ will carry 78 regular season games, starting with back to back Thanksgiving weekend affairs in Laval.
Jack Miller will have the call both Friday and Saturday nights beginning at 7:15 p.m. from Place Bell.
