Developers hope to increase the number of residences in part of a big new subdivision in Belleville’s west end.
At its meeting Monday afternoon, Belleville’s Planning Advisory Committee will see a request for rezoning on part of the Potters Creek development.
In 2008, phases 7 and 8 were approved for a total of 157 residential units, consisting of 153 houses and 4 townhouses.
Now, due to market forces, the developers want to build a total of 194 residences, including 103 single detached homes, 44 semi-detached, 14 duplexes, and 33 townhouses.
Planning staff is recommending the rezoning application be approved.
