It was Purple in the Rink night at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens last night in Trenton.
The Trenton Golden Hawks sported purple jerseys as they played the Cobourg Cougars.
Purple in the Rink games are annual fundraisers for The Children’s Foundation, and are part of Child Abuse Prevention Awareness month.
Executive Director of The Children’s Foundation, Connie Reid was at the game.
All funds raised at the hockey games go toward the Playing for Keeps program, which provides financial help to families in need so they can register their children in sports activties.
