A man from Quinte West has been arrested on charges of weapons dangerous and using an imitation firearm to commit an offense after an incident in downtown Belleville last Friday.
Belleville police say it’s alleged a man brandished a weapon at a female employee at a downtown business and ordered her to remove her clothing.
The woman walked away and told her supervisor, who in turn told the man with the weapon to leave, which he did.
The incident was reported to police last Saturday, the following day.
Tuesday, city police arrested a 56 year old man. The weapon turned out be an imitation firearm.
